Right... I have been at university for nearly 3 months now. I bought a brand spanking new PC just before I got here, everything EXCEPT my Radeon X800XT... was waiting till I got to UNI before I bought it. I ordered it online. There were problems. I was Supposed to have it 3 weeks ago. I have no PC and therefore no games!!! I only recently got a TV too! ARGH! oh well. Anyone else been in this sort of dilemna before =P

it sucks.

hehe nah just having withdrawal symptoms from playing PC games. especially gw!

2/3 of our computers where turned on during a thunders storm at home.

Imac and our Portable IntelPC

Thunder: '*BOOM*'

The protable Intel Pc: KABLOWY!!!!!!***smokes**

The Imac: 'Fizzle'

Checked it out...not damage, Modem is fried.

So no gaming, no internet until we got another PC and ordered a Modem.

*Now* we use curcuit brakers!

I got one of those uber-huge power strips for each of my computers, and my HDTV. Thankfully my "lesson" only cost me an old TV/VCR combo.

wow.. that why you need a power supply or adapter that has a power surge protection. Good thing i have my PSP and Grand Theft Auto LCS to keep me busy.

As for not playing Guild Wars for a long time, i can feel your pain. Parent keeping me away from playing PC games weekdays now so yeah. I can't play Guild Wars till weekend.
